Why is LearnWorlds unique?
LearnWorlds has one of the most extensive suites of integrations I’ve seen for an online course platform. It’s insane how many different tools and services I can connect with.
LearnWorlds natively integrates with many apps, including marketing, affiliate, automation, financial, customer services, and analytics apps. It also integrates with video, email marketing, and live session applications seamlessly.
These integrations mean I can bring all my tech stack in one place.
LearnWorlds pricing
The Starter plan costs $29 monthly.
It supports unlimited paid courses, eBook page builders, exams and quizzes, and a custom domain. The plan also offers a three-page website, a free SSL certificate, and marketing and accounting integrations.
But if I go with this plan I’ll have to give up $5 per course sale, unlike other plans that don’t charge any transaction fees. However, the annual plan gives me 20% off yearly.
LearnWorld’s other plans—Pro Trainer ($99/monthly) and Learning Center ($299/month)—give me more advanced features. If I need something even more scalable, I can contact Sales for a custom plan.
Feature 1: User experience of course builder
I was impressed with this platform after testing it out with the 30-day free trial.
It took less than a minute to set up an account, including selecting a school template. I love that there were so many templates to choose from. The dashboard prioritizes intuitiveness.
I didn’t struggle to find anything. There was also a super helpful checklist that made creating a course a piece of cake. It’s possible to create a complete course (outline plus lessons) with AI.
But, you might need to edit the AI-generated content to improve the quality.
Next, I tested the site and funnel builders. The simple editor makes it easy to create a professional-looking website and funnel. However, the experience could be overwhelming for inexperienced creators or new users.
I also noticed that I can add pop-ups to my site. I believe it’ll help boost sales and lower bounce rates. I tested it and found it very intuitive.
Feature 2: Learner engagement tools
I noticed that I can provide exams and quizzes, self-assessments, and certificates to students at the end of each lesson or module. These are features that can help them engage actively with their learning.
But I struggled to figure out how to add them at first.
It’s actually super simple. All I have to do is click the “Add Activity” button and then choose from options like Multimedia, Live Sessions, Ebooks, Exams, and Assessments. And then pick the activity I want, save it, and finally click to edit the content—everything seems so easy at this point.
Other activities I can add include Certificate, Forms, and Embed, which is perfect for embedding custom codes, Slideshare, or external links.
I think the mobile app’s push notifications and learning reminders provide other ways students can engage with their learning. I didn’t test these features because it requires at least the Pro Trainer plan.
Feature 3: Marketing and payment features
I can bundle courses, sell subscriptions, and offer coupons.
LearnWorlds natively supports these marketing features. It’s also easy to add forms and pop-ups to my site to generate leads from prospects. I am happy that I can generate a link to share these forms, which means I can extend my reach to non-site visitors.
Additionally, it only takes a flip of a switch to activate my affiliate program.
LearnWorlds is dropping a mass emailing feature soon, which will give me even more ways to market my courses. But I can also integrate with third-party email marketing apps to use my favorite email marketing service. And with LearnWorlds’ extensive integrations, I can even extend its marketing capabilities.
The platform supports Shopify, Paypal, and Stripe and I can add more with integrations.
Feature 4: Scalability
LearnWorlds is not lacking when it comes to scalability. It can support unlimited courses, website pages, and pop-ups. I can also upgrade or downgrade my plans as the need arises or request a custom plan.
Feature 5: Affordability
LearnWorlds’ pricing is never a problem for me. It offers a free trial, and the pricing plans are very reasonable. Plus, the platform is feature-rich and offers some of the most advanced capabilities I’ve seen in an online course platform.
I can put my money here without batting an eyelid.
Feature 6: Unique features
The mobile app builder is something I can’t stop loving.
I can build a 100% white-label mobile app to deliver personalized training to my students without coding experience. The visual editor makes it effortless to set up and customize.
Also, I can enable biometric authentication, and automatic signup with social media accounts, and allow users to explore courses without registering first. I was surprised to find that submitting the app to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store is relatively simple and can be completed in just a few clicks.
